This completely organic, granular feed has been specially formulated to provide Acers with perfectly balanced nutrients and help them to thrive.Whether planting new trees or if they’re already established, Blooming Fast Acer Feed will help them achieve their full potential, keeping them healthy with lush fresh growth and the fabulously coloured foliage and branches that Japanese Maples are so famous for. Just two applications are needed each year, in spring and again in summer. The feed is also ideal to add when planting new trees, either in pots or in the ground, to give them the best possible start.Supplied as a 900 g pack, enough for 32 applications.Directions for UseFor planting new Acers, including bare root: Dig a hole 60 cm (2 ft) wide and 25 cm (10 in) deep and mix a handful of Acer feed into the bottom. Bare root trees should be planted between October and March, pot grown trees can be planted at any time as long as the soil isn’t waterlogged or frozen. Once planted, add a further handful of feed around the tree and work it into the soil.Established small or young Acers: Sprinkle 28 g (1 oz) around each plant in April or May, mixing into the soil with a hoe, with a second application in July or August. Avoid getting the feed onto stems and leaves. Water in if the soil is dry.For larger trees: double the dosage.Keep away from pets and children and store in a cool, dry place. Wash hands after use.
