A well-kept lawn is the pride of every gardener, and all it takes is a little TLC from this powerful, rolling lawn scarifier. As you stroll up and down your garden, 11 super-sharp tines remove the moss and thatch that ‘choke’ the soil, thus improving oxygen flow and nutrients. No bending or back strain thanks to a 128cm long handle. Angle the head to scarify lightly (in spring) or deeper (in autumn). Wheels, Dia.15cm. Head, W38cm (excl. wheels). 11 blades, each L8cm. Simple home assembly.
Prepare the lawn surface for scarifying if necessary.
Before using a scarifier, it is important to prepare the lawn surface. Remove any large debris such as stones and twigs and mow the lawn. A few weeks before you intend to scarify, you should treat your lawn with moss killer so that you don't spread moss spores with your rake. Once the lawn is prepared and ready for a scarifying session, it’s time to get started!

"Works As Well As Could Be Expected For A Hand-Powered Machine."
The item was delivered as promised and was as expected - fairly hard work to cut through grass, residue and soil.

"Handy Scarifier"
Easy to use and effective for a smallish lawn. Whilst it does not collect the rakings up itself this is easily done by another quick going over with the mower afterwards. Better results than just raking manually
