    I got this to replace my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, which is still going after 8 years. Hopefully this one will have the same longevity. Battery is excellent on Mobile network, little less on WiFi as expected. Left overnight it only went down 3%. I can use it for about 5 hours, watching TV, playing games, scrolling tiktok etc and it goes down to about 50%. I charge it on using 2 x 12v 100ah batteries on a fast charge USB 30w and it still charges half in about 1.5 hours. There are lots of new things all around with regards to Android version, which just upgraded to 13. Haven't been in a 5G area yet, but have a Vodafone unlimited sim which picks up everywhere I go. Would have gone for the bigger one but its a fair but more money, so happy with it....for now!!!

    A friend asked me to recommend a new tablet, always a tricky thing to do these days as there is so much crap out there. I recommended the Tab S8 plus so he asked me to order him one. I set it up and tested it against an Ipad pro, the screen size and aspect ratio of the Tab 8+ is much better then the ipad and in side by side testing the Tab 8+ got a faster speed test over wifi which was impressive but to be fair the ipad is 4 years old so its showing its age.

    I use both Android and apple devices and there are issues with both, none are perfect but if you are looking for a new tablet then give the Tab 8+ a try.

    We bought another tablet (same one) and had the same issue. Reviews reported it too, however after a lot of searching online i found that the magnetic case was interfering with the pen. So the tablet is fine but don't buy magnetic cases with it. The tablet is amazing and highly recommended.

    Part of the screen was not working upon first use. Took 14 days for Amazon to process my refund. Entire process was a disaster. The tablet was for my child's school work. Not happy.

    There is a Samsung promotion at the moment that makes this tablet a serious challenger for the Apple iPad. Value for money will depend if the samsung trade in promotion is available; if it is, the value for money is 5 stars. It has WiFi 6E, a sleek finish and, it's stunningly quick for a tablet. I have two ASUS Zen AX routers with cabled mesh backhaul, and set for WiFi 5 160 MHz (not 6E) and, the WiFi connection speed (WiFi 5 second channel) is 2.4Gbps! The only downside so far, is the Smart Switch app for transferring data from my old Samsung Tab S does not work with a cable or wireless connection. I have found Android 12 a fairly step learning process after Android 6 and, it won't install apps such as the standard CCleaner that can be installed on Android 6. The finish is immaculate, but feels slippery; a case is a must. Fortunately Amazon sell the Samsung "One Size" case that holds the S8 by strong concealed magnets. Strong concealed magnets also hold the two reading positions. Most of the software bloat seems to be useful. I have Sony LinkS earbuds [thank you Amazon Vine] and they work so well with this tablet. I switched in LDAC, DSEE, Dolby Atmos for music, and Adaptive Sound for my hearing profile: music Nivana, what a combination!!

    Tablette efficace et réactive avec une excellente dalle OLED et un processeur au top (Snapdragon Gen1).
    L'écran de 12,4" est vraiment agréable pour regarder confortablement films et videos.
    Gros bémol sur le logiciel Samsung Switch censé transférer données et applications depuis la précédente tablette : totalement inefficace. Il faut passer une journée pour tout re-télécharger et tout ré-organiser (merci Nova Launcher !), mais c'est le prix pour une nouvelle tablette !
    Bref, une tablette haut de gamme au rendez-vous de l'agrément, mais pas trop grande pour rester transportable, ce qui n'est plus le cas pour les tablettes 14,6".
    L'autonomie est moyenne, sans plus, mais permet de partir en voyage avec plusieurs films ou videos téléchargées à regarder, c'est l'essentiel.
