As they contain Cyanuric Acid they are automatically stabilised against destruction of chlorine residual by sunlight. Stabilised Chlorine Granules are a white granular solid. Blue Horizons Stabilised Chlorine Granules adds chlorine to the water just like any other sanitizer but it also adds stabiliser at the same time. It has a pH close to neutral (7) so that it will have little effect on the ph of the pool water. The best way to add it to the pool is to dissolve the required amount in a bucket of warm water first.
