Can the pencil sharpener be opened to empty shavings?

This pencil sharpener is a great novelty and very handy to carry in a backpack. But once it's full of pencil shavings, we can't seem to open it to empty and continue using. Is it supposed to open??

I have a Chef N clear plastic pepper ball and love it but I cannot find how to replentish the pepper and am afraid of breaking the ball trying to open anything and refilling it. NO INSTRUCTIONS in my possesion for accomplishing this. Love the product. bert

i love silly bandz but i live in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and i cant find them anywhere.so i think you should totally open new branches in Africa that sell silly bandz because a lot of people in my school want them but cant find them.

I wish the standard purse was a little bit bigger but other than that, this is a very clever concept and I m so glad that I happened to catch your infomercial. I ordered it but didn t open it so that my husband could give it to me for Christmas. He put it away until then and I couldn t get it out of my mind. This Christmas I finally got a present from him that I really, really like. I hope you keep creating new cover designs. I ll probably continue to be a customer for life. Thanks.
